Setting the date is crucial – you want to include everyone on your list who you would like to come, but also you have to consider the people in your families who should, out of etiquette, be invited. Not always an easy task. But before you get to that point, spend a bit of time thinking about yourselves.
The wedding date will be on your calendar for many years to come as an important anniversary, so why not tie it in with another anniversary or celebration you have that sometimes gets forgotten; the date you first met, the date of your proposal or on a practical note a date that isn’t a prime wedding venue date – it could allow you to make considerable savings, enough to even enable you to treat yourselves to a fantastic honeymoon you’ll remember for ever.
