Every love story starts somewhere, and for Abi and Harry, it all began at school.
Years later, Harry planned a proposal that was as memorable as it was unexpected. Surrounded by breathtaking views at the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain and with their beloved pup, Milo, by their side, he asked one of life’s most important questions.

“Arches, had the intimate feeling but also truly magical.”

When reflecting on the day afterwards, there was no hesitation when asked about their favourite moment.

Music played a huge part in setting the tone throughout the day. As guests arrived, the timeless sounds of Einaudi filled the air, beautifully performed by a live string quartet before the celebrations flowed effortlessly into an afternoon accompanied by relaxed background jazz.

A Wedding Breakfast to Remember
For Abi and Harry, incredible food wasn’t simply another item on the checklist. It was one of the most important parts of the entire experience.
Guests enjoyed a beautifully curated menu featuring beef striploin, chicken and cod, with every course receiving glowing reviews.
“Beef Striplion, chicken and cod. All absolutely incredible.”
When asked about the three things that mattered most, their answer perfectly summed up everything they wanted their wedding to be.
“It had to feel intimate, every element of it had to feel intentional and the food had to be incredible. Every aspect of this was pulled off. Ellie and Rebecca are truly perfect people and they couldn’t have made the day more special for us.”

As the sun began to set, the celebrations continued into the evening with music, laughter and plenty of dancing.
Although Abi and Harry had initially wondered whether the Rock Bar would feel suited to a smaller wedding, it quickly became one of the biggest surprises of the day.
“Of course! Was the most magical! If I’m being honest, I was slightly worried about the rock bar being slightly underwhelming for the evening celebration but it exceeded all expectations!!! I think the website section could do with showcasing intimate weddings in a different format to show how it can be achieved.”
Staying overnight meant the celebrations didn’t have to end once the music stopped.
“Yes; loved this so much.”
And when asked whether they and their guests enjoyed the afterparty experience, their answer was wonderfully simple.
“Yes loved it.”

Looking back on their wedding day, Abi and Harry had three pieces of advice for couples currently planning their own celebration.
“If you’re thinking of having a small wedding .. go for it! It was the most beautiful thing ever. Invest in suppliers, they made it truly magical. Go to all the food and wine tasting events, it really helped us nail the right food and drink combos.”
