The Ballroom
Whether it’s a large AGM, a conference or an awards ceremony which requires microphones and projection screens, we’ve got you covered. Our grand ballroom is light, bright, and spacious. With room for up to 250 guests, the Ballroom opens out onto the lake and gardens. With its own large bar, stage and facilities, what more could you ask for!
The Maximilian
A bright and beautiful period room with stunning views of the pretty gardens, this space is as impressive as it is versatile. The Maximilian can happily host up to 80 guests theatre style, making it perfect for all occasions, from conferences to corporate dining. With feature wood panelled walls and impressive ceilings, it’s the perfect space for away days, seminars, presentations, as well as quieter corporate social events.
Rock Bar
With three different areas, a bar, jukebox, and even a game rooms with table football and a pool table, the Rock Bar is the perfect place for informal meetings, breakout sessions, or just a relaxing drink. Fun fact: it’s also accessible via a secret passageway from the Lyderick!

With 7 acres of enchanting gardens and a beautiful lake to explore, there’s every reason to linger a little bit longer at Manor By The Lake. Including a range of stunning outdoor spaces, perfect for hosting events of all types. From archery in the grounds to zorbing in the fountain garden – it’s all your team, it’s all your space. You can host a wide range of activities to suit your team, be creative as you wish!
Meeting packages
Escape the hullabaloo, come and write your story in our extraordinary exclusive use Victorian manor house. Stay online and enjoy complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi which is included in the delegate rate, we can also provide anything from flipcharts and microphones to projection screens and extension leads to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible.
With a wide range of additional extras that can be added to your package, whether it be bacon rolls on arrival or delicious afternoon tea with scones, jam and cream, we’ve got a range of delegate packages to suit every need. You could even use the evening to celebrate in style with your team.
Day delegate
Need a day away to strategise? A private meeting room, break out areas, a projector, flipchart and screen, as well as a finger buffet or two-course lunch: dedicate a day to your business with our Dawn to Dusk business package and carry out your meetings in comfort and style.
24 hour
In addition to our Dawn to Dusk package, our 24 hour delegate rate includes overnight accommodation, a three-course evening meal and a Full English breakfast so you can focus your team and get down to business. Who said business and pleasure don’t mix?

Dine in designated private areas away from your meeting space and enjoy every mouthful.
From charity fundraisers, corporate dinners and even new car launches, there are few special events that we haven’t had the pleasure of hosting here at Manor By The Lake. Our Ballroom is a generous yet welcoming space with stunning heritage features that can host simple lunches for six to the most elaborate gala dinners for up to 200 guests.
And that’s not all. Our award-winning chefs will work with you to design the perfect menu, you can trust us to prepare your food to perfection. We can tailor make your menu to your exact requirements.
